Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website or use a web-based application. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to enhance user experience, and to provide information to website owners.
In addition to traditional cookies, we may also use similar tracking technologies, including:
Web beacons — small transparent image files embedded in pages or emails to track behavior and engagement
Local storage — browser-side data storage that persists beyond a session
Pixels — code snippets used for conversion tracking and analytics
Session identifiers — server-side tokens used to maintain authenticated sessions
Throughout this Policy, we use the term "cookies" to refer to all such technologies collectively.
2. Why We Use Cookies
Nocveel uses cookies to:
Enable core platform functionality, including authentication and session management
Remember your preferences and settings between visits
Understand how users interact with our platform to improve performance and usability
Measure the effectiveness of our marketing and onboarding campaigns
Detect and prevent fraud and security threats
Comply with legal and regulatory requirements
Nocveel is a business platform, not a consumer e-commerce site. We do not use cookies for behaviorally targeted advertising to individuals or for retargeting campaigns directed at data subjects whose information appears in our audience database.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
1. Strictly Necessary (Required): Essential for the platform to operate. These cookies enable login, session management, security features, and basic functionality. They cannot be disabled without breaking core Services.
2. Performance (Optional): Collect anonymized data about how users interact with the platform — page load times, error rates, most-used features — to help us optimize performance and reliability.
3. Functional (Optional): Remember your preferences such as language, display settings, and saved filters so you don't have to reconfigure them each session.
4. Analytics & Marketing (Optional): Help us measure website traffic, track campaign attribution, and understand how prospective customers discover and evaluate Nocveel. Used on our marketing website only.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our platform are set by third-party service providers. These providers have their own privacy policies and cookie practices, which we encourage you to review:
Google Analytics — web analytics and traffic measurement
Meta Pixel — marketing campaign tracking (optional, consent-based only)
Third-party marketing cookies are limited to our public marketing website and are only activated with your consent.
5. Consent & Your Choices
When you first visit our website, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or decline optional cookie categories. Your choices will be remembered for 12 months.
Strictly Necessary cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for the platform to function
Performance, Functional, and Analytics/Marketing cookies are optional and only activated with your explicit consent
Withdrawing your consent to optional cookies will not affect cookies already placed. To remove those, please clear your browser cookies as described below.
6. Browser Controls
All major browsers allow you to manage, block, or delete cookies through their settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will impair or prevent your ability to use the Nocveel platform.
Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and Other Site Data
Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
Apple Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and Site Permissions → Manage and Delete Cookies
For more detailed instructions, visit allaboutcookies.org.
To opt out of Google Analytics tracking specifically, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
7. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that sends a signal to websites indicating that you do not wish to be tracked. Currently, there is no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. Nocveel does not currently alter its data collection practices in response to DNT signals, but we remain committed to providing robust opt-out mechanisms through our Cookie Preferences panel.
8. Cookie Retention
Cookies are classified by their lifespan:
Session cookies are temporary and are deleted automatically when you close your browser. They are used for authentication and security purposes during your active session.
Persistent cookies remain on your device for a defined period or until you manually delete them. They are used for preference retention, analytics, and marketing attribution.
We only retain cookie data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was set, or as required by law. Consent records are retained for audit purposes for a period of 3 years.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our use of cookies, regulatory requirements, or technology. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, by displaying a new consent notice on our website.
We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Your continued use of our website or tool after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Cookie Policy.
